Welcome! My name is Arlo and I am Trans, Queer, and Latine. I have been a Barber for 16 years and have been in NYC for two years doing hair. Classic barbering was my first love. I spent many years honing in on that skillset that has made me the Barber I am today. The more I came out to myself, I became more curious in creative hair styles that made me hungry to learn things outside of tradition in hair and what gender meant in hair (eventually the lack there of). I have been so grateful and happy to be offering creative styles for the Queer, BIPOC, and textured hair community, as well as classic haircuts. I’m interested in giving each client a bespoke service as every person with textured hair and classic hair styles has it’s own beautiful nuance. I would say my style of barbering is one of great detail, in depth consultations and connection. It doesn’t matter what style a person wants, I pride myself in tailoring everything from a buzz cut fade to a textured creative style.
